I returned it. It worked well for one week. After a week it made a cold, flavorless pot of coffee. I be had high hopes, but was very disappointed. I suppose I was issued a lemon as I can’t imagine Cuisinart manufacturing such a poor machine
Consistently makes good coffee. We use the bold setting which seems to "embolden" the flavor a bit. Timer works well for having the coffee ready as soon as you wake up in the morning. Cleaning is fairly easy to do. Overall, a very good coffee maker.

Bought this for the programmable feature, which is simple and easy to use. Nice coffee maker as noted in other reviews bit tricky to pour last cup or so. When filling with water i use a seperate easier pitcher to fill. Not really sure how long it stays hot in the thermal carafe but servesvits purpose for us as I wake much earlier than husband and he can still have hot coffe that hasnt been cooked down on a warming plate.

It’s a bit large for a single person, but I couldn’t find a smaller capacity coffee maker made by a top quality manufacturer that was BPA free. This model is BPA free anywhere contacting liquid… so it says. Nice features. Makes hot coffee and maintains the high temperature with the warming plate.
I am very unhappy with this coffee maker. When you try to fill with water it is very awkward and water goes on counter. When you pour a cup of brewed coffee it spills onto counter. My hand does not fit inside carafe to wash it.
