This thermometer was just what we needed during this health crisis! My grandsons need their temperature taken every morning before they go to school, and we didn't trust the readings on our old temporal thermometer. This has worked perfectly!

more accurate than most of the Ear and Forehead Thermometer, but more expensive, and this one is forehead only. ease to use, one button and checked. There is one minor point - the spring of the battery slot is too strong, therefore makes closing the battery slot a bit difficult. The plastic plate of the battery slot cover is not so smooth to close. I may one day break that joint of the plastic battery cover. It would be perfect to improve the plastic construction. Anyway, it says made in china.

If only it worked. if only it was accurate The first one was accurate but stopped working after a couple of days, even with changing the batteries (because even the batteries that come with something can die sooner than expected). The replacement isn't reading accurately. Tested against the old-fashioned glass in the mouth type of thermometer and another brand 'point and shoot/in ear' thermometer later purchased and it wasn't even close! Sadly, nothing against the seller, but the product is not worth the hassle - esp. during this time when taking temps are critical. Returning both units.
