Bought this to close the hole in an old wine barrel I refinished as a table. Fit perfectly. Used a rubber mallet to pound into place and then an orbital sander to take off some depth.

Looks awesome and holds a lot of bottles. Only complaint is that it does not lay flat on the wall. It's a bit warped.

The quality of the wooden lid is not good, moisture seeps out of the wood from the bottle, and a moldy black color is formed in the middle of the wooden lid. Half of the wooden lid has black mildew stains.
I bought this for my husband for a birthday present and was not at all disappointed. He loves it and it looks great in his man cave
