These things are INSANE on Pearl piccolo snares when they’re cranked. I tried it on my 13x 7 maple snare and it just didn’t work, but on a piccolo... Holy moly talk about a crack!!! I’m a happy camper for sure 👍 It takes all the ring out of a piccolo and leaves a nice crisp crack but still sensitive enough for ghost strokes. A+++

This productis really great and evans has done a very good on the choice of tinsle fibers.The best thing about the drumhead is the tone and crispness thereare no overtones at high pitches.
Our High School marching band competes nationally, so we practice HARD and EVANS drum heads stand up to all we can dish out. Occasionally we will have a head failure, but these are trophies to be hung on our bedroom and band room walls as it take a lot to cause an EVANS head to fail.
