Being able to use the low range gearing while keeping full steering makes parking the trailer a breeze, and it saves my transmission as well. Love this feature!

Does not fit 2004 Silverado 2500HD. Unfortunately Amazon's direct fit guide got this one wrong. Very irritating to fight getting the old one out only to find you've been sent the wrong part.
So I bought my first actuator back in June 2021 and it broke within the first month. I went to switch it from 2wd to 4wd and I heard a loud pop, then nothing would happen when I would press the 4x4 mode selector. I emailed GWA and they gave me a brand new part in less than 7 days. Installed the new part and it worked for 5 months. Then the same exact thing happened, literally the same thing… I took apart the second actuator and the internal gear had failed. I emailed GWA again and they sent me a new part within two days, With no hesitation… I live in North Pole Alaska so that’s extremely fast! This is now my 3rd part within 6 months. So the part quality is not there. I’ll let you know how long this 3rd actuator last.
