Works well with my 1971 Chevy pickup. I'm running a 402 BB bored .30 over with HE 268 cam. Not quite enough vacuum at red lights with power brakes (idle was off). Solved the problem. Looks good and seems to be well built. I would recommend this product.
Works great with my HEI distributor, (which is not MSD, so I would believe it would work with all HEI distributors). It was easy to install, only about 20 minutes, and brought my vacuum advance down from 24* to 14*. It has 4 different settings to allow you to customize exactly how much advance you get. And with this style stop plate, you don't need to retime the engine every time you change it.
