The Fiberpunk Node Pro is an expansion module that provides a WiFi interface to 3D printers that allows uploading files directly to the printer instead of having to move SD cards back and forth. It has slicer plugins for Cura and PrusaSlicer to send files directly after slicing which will save some time. The Node Pro has an integrated OLED display, a microSD card slot, a USB-C power connector, a microSD adapter and USB-A port to connect to the printer, and expansion ports with UART, I2C and GPIO connection pins. Also included were a pre-installed 16GB microSD card, a USB-C power cable, a micro USB cable for printer connection, and a 5V2A USB power adapter. This version is set up for the Creality Ender series of printers, specifically the Ender 3 V1, V2, S1, S1 Pro(STM32F401 mainboard) and Ender 5. My new Ender 5 S1 has the same mainboard as the Ender 3 S1 Pro so it ought to work once I get the printer set up. WiFi is configured from a text file on the SD card. The SD card was very difficult to remove because it's flush with the outside of the case and the slot is very tight. The SD card had a WiFi config.txt file and few gcode files on it that looked like stuff left over from a previous user. After configuring and reinstalling the card the Node Pro booted up and connected to WiFi on the first try. The firmware was out of date so I upgraded it using the instructions in the firmware upgrade tutorial. The update tool is Windows only so I had to use a Windows VM to update the firmware. The process is pretty complicated but the tutorial is pretty easy to follow. I haven't had a chance to try it with the printer yet but so far so good!
Easy to setup and works flawlessly on my ender 3 v2 neo. Having a print server setup for printers placed all over my house is a necessity, and with raspberry pi s being scalped at ridiculous prices, this thing is an amazing alternative. The instructions make the setup easy and they even include STL files for cases/mounts for a clean setup. I had to buy a longer usb c cable for power because of where my printer is located, but those cables are cheap too. Cannot recommend this enough for a print server.
It is wonderful that this exists at all. But, just a few minor changes and it could be even better. I could easily make a basic text file for the config it asks for, but why is there not a blank config file on the sd card that came in the board, so i just fill in my details. Why so many SD errors and an unreliable SD connection, not until all troubleshooting steps provided are followed, then a decent connection happens. The tape thing in the instructions works but, there are better connectors out there.
Works very well on both my vyper and Kobra max. Great alternative to octoprint especially with raspberry pis so hard to get
Good news for Ender 3 S1 Plus Owner's. I bought it for my older Ender, and even if the Fiberpunk support told me that it was not compatible with the Ender 3 S1 Plus, I tried, and guest what?! It works, I can use all the controls and everything from the computer. All you need to do after connect it, is to set the card reader in to SDIO ,restart printer and NODE and the game is done!!. I like it!! I will buy another! Great product.

I got Node Pro after seeing another friend running it on his Prusa MK3S. It was very handy. Ender 3 V2 has a difficult to insert/remove microSD card slot and I hated it so much because it is so small and tedious. Now I can just send the files over WiFi and control the printer. I am planning on getting the Sentry Pro as well to go with Node Pro.
Setup was cumbersome but I knew that going in that this was not something for beginners. The videos were helpful. Now that it's up and running I rather enjoy controlling the print job from the pc and not having to do the sd card. Overall, this was an excellent item and I'm very satisfied
Setup was fairly straightforward -- the documentation on setup and potential errors was done well and includes potential solution to problems. Printing straight from the computer to the printer is wonderful! It's nice to be able to send the print over without having to transfer an SD card. It's fairly secure as well, which is great. More instructions in the box would have been good; the instructions were primarily on the website, which worked but wasn't as convenient. Overall it works really well and I am very satisfied! Will consider purchasing additional in the future.
Device works as advertised but I decided to pick up a sonic pad instead
It works great on my ender 3. I have a google nest mesh wifi system and it connected with no problem. You need to toggle off WPA3 security from with the home app in wifi settings.
