If there was a zero star option, that’s how I would rate this washer/dryer combo. Do not buy it if you don’t have time and money to waste. The washer did not wash and the dryer did not dry from day one. After running the unit for hours, my clothes remained completely dirty and wet. We have been trying to return the unit for over a month. The seller never keeps appointments to pick up the unit. Each time it’s we’ll be there tomorrow.
Greetings from Northern California, Typically, I have positive things to say on my reviews, and if I do have something negative I try to be tactful and sensitive, always giving sellers a chance to tell their side of the story or make things right. Unfortunately, that is not the case this time. Please read on: I was SO excited to finally get a washer/dryer for my 32' RV but sadly had extremely poor results with the clothes I laundered and getting help resolving the issues thereof. After I [finally] made contact with a representative named Di, I did everything she suggested to make it work properly, including making sure it was level, it was properly vented, it was free of lint, the loads were small, there was plenty of water pressure, that I used the correct type and amount of detergent ( I even tried cold, warm, and hot water washes), I used Downy fabric softener (wrinkle control) along with wool balls and still didn't get clean clothes that were remotely wrinkle-free. The water simply didn't rinse well and this is made obvious by the picture of my brand new white washcloths which after being washed and dried twice came out looking dirty and ruined. (see photo). The representative Di gave me the phone number of a local technician, Rick, then but told me if he came out and found it was something I did wrong, I would be billed for his labor, not them. Having no choice, I agreed and tried to get the technician to come out to take a look at the machine but because he lives 13 miles away he put me off until he had more clients in my area. I didn't mind at first but then it seemed like it was becoming a problem connecting. He would call and only give me 30 minutes' notice and expect me to be here. When I couldn't, he seemed frustrated and told me he'd call me another time, which never happened. I called and texted him several times thereafter, plus followed up with the management at Equator in Texas, but neither acknowledged much less returned my messages at all. Frustrated with stacks of dirty clothy needing laundering, I contacted Amazon customer service on January 26th. By this time, my washer/dryer combo was out of the (extremely short) 90-day manufacturer warranty and Amazon's 30-day money-back satisfaction guarantee, however, after explaining in detail my ongoing issues and providing a paper trail supporting my assertions, Amazon took responsibility where Equators management failed to and made things right with me. Once again, I am completely blown away by the excellent customer service Amazon provides and can see why they are such a hugely successful company with such a tremendous consumer retention rate. I will be purchasing another washer/dryer from them as soon as the [now useless] Equator is picked up and discarded and will rest assured knowing I am in good hands with my awesome family at Amazon. It's been nearly one year since our purchase. This compact machine is an all-in-one workhorse! Washed and dries perfectly, without an external vent. While common in Europe, this is one of the few washer-dryer combos on the market, certainly the only one that fit between our tub and the wall. The product washes fine, it is way louder than the cheap magic chef 2 in one The ventless drying doesn’t work, it steam the heck out of your clothes, the entire unit sweats and steams up your room and nothing ever gets dry. I paid a lot for the ventless feature. If you want ventless don’t buy this it doesn’t dry. All this $$ and I’m having my clothes all over my house to dry, very disappointing
