Despite the convenience, the case has a hard shell, well padded interior, and snug fit. I wish I had ditched the bulky hard case long ago.

Great price and very durable material. Keep everything and very secure for the instrument.
Those hard cases are awkward and heavy. This solves both of those problems easily. Our 14 year-old daughter LOVES it. It's a joy to carry, and it's much more solid than it looks. It's been dropped and kicked, but her alto sax remains perfect. Also comes with shoulder straps, that was a nice surprise. Definitely worth the money.
The sax player in our family thinks that this is the perfect case. The instrument itself is well protected, there's room for music, reeds, etc., and it can be carried by hand or worn as a backpack (or "frontpack", if you've already got a backpack on your back). I cannot say enough good things about it!

Quality case at a great price. Back pack straps are built in to the bottom side and neatly tuck away behind a velcro flap; a VERY cool feature that they don't mention. They make it sound like the backpap straps are optional as in ordered separately or are attached optionally. They are actually there all the time and nicely tucked away behind a smooth velcroed panel.. VERY NICE surprise. Inner padded molding fits my son's Yamaha 23 alto sax perfectly. Additional spaces for neck and mouthpiece. Managed to fit 10 pack of extra reeds, two neck straps, cleaner cloth, mirror in the extra zippered storage on the top site. I agree with the annoyance that the hinge tether straps make it flop back due to the weight of the top half of the case when you open it. Might cut those straps so it can kinda lay flat. I hope it holds up for a few years.

Got this for my 10 year old and I absolutely love it! It fits his saxophone and music and is smaller than his old case. It’s sturdy and the backpack straps definitely work well. He also loves the carry handle. It’s definitely worth the money!!
