First, it might be because I have a cordless stick vacuum that has less power than regular vacuums so keep that in mind. I was able to connect the attachment and it did suction up the little tufts of lint in my dryer shoot but not without putting the hose right over the tufts. In essence, anything I couldn't see (or didn't fit with the angle of the attachment- which was a lot) was not suctioned up. I was able to suction all the lint off my lint trap but considering I can do this by hand... it was not impressive. Sad I waited too long to try it out and my return window has closed.

For the most part, I like this little gadget. It helped get so much stuff out of my dryer. It's one fatal flaw is if the tube is in just the wrong position, it makes an ear-piercing whistle, and it happened a lot during the 10 minutes I had to use it. Like: easy to use. Fit very nicely on our old tank vacuum cleaner hose. I was concerned that the width may be a problem in the space that the lint screen fits into. My concern was unfounded. The hose is rectangular in shape and fit wonderfully. We used the dryer today and could tell a performance difference. NICE Opportunities for improvement: a flexible tip (several inches) so the hose can go around the bend at the bottom of the lint screen area and get the lint just past the lint screen area.
