Purchased this bag in blue. Seems a bit darker than what is pictured, but probably has to do with the lighting. Made of 100% Nylon Canvas. Can be machine washed on cold and hung to dry. Straps are also made out of Nylon Canvas and are adjustable to fit a variety of wheelchairs. The clasps on the straps are made of plastic and are the "side release" buckle style clasps. I agree with other reviewers who indicated that the material is "water resistant," not waterproof. Do not put your electronic items in this bag on a rainy day! That being said, the bag is very spacious and easily accommodates my fifteen and a half inch laptop with lots of room left over. It has a "flap" that closes over the top with a long strip of Velcro. On the interior, there is a zippered pouch in which to store items like a cell phone, a wallet, etc. The seams are well-made and so far the bag seems very durable. I do have to mention that this bag is more of a convenience for caregivers than for individuals who use a wheelchair for mobility. Individuals using a wheelchair have to reach behind themselves for the bag, which makes it difficult to use, and an impediment to independence. As a caregiver, I am very happy with this product. I received this bag at a discount in exchange for my honest review, and I am honestly happy with this purchase! I would buy this again at regular price.

I've been using it for a year at school. It is not sturdy or secure as it only has a Velcro closure. Very light weight and doesn't hold much. It hangs too low, rubs against the power chair's wheels and can't be adjusted so that it stays up high enough to avoid them. Would never place anything of value or weight in the backpack for fear of damage or loss.

The bag looks like it is well made and large enough to be useful.
This pack is much thinner and weaker than I imagined. You could carry some personal items in it, but, for example, if you put a college textbook in the bag, the bag would sag under the weight an probably tear. So be warned. If all you need to carry in it is a wallet and sunglasses, then no problem. If you are going to use it to carry anything heavier than that, I would look for a different item.

Bought this for my sons wheelchair to use on family outings. Perfect for lightweight items like tissues, souvenirs purchased and our wallets so we didn’t have to carry a purse.
Looks nice but my step-brother complains that it slides. The strap is nylon and it is as tight as we can get it but still slides. Wish the strap had a strap that didn't slide. It is hard enough for him to reach around the back but when the bag slides it is even harder.
