I love these things. I have 2 of them and the guys review that it wouldn’t start his diesel is completely wrong. It starts my dual battery 7.3L diesel ambulance with no problem. I use these to charge everything from phones to Remote control car batteries. If the comment on oct. 24th is upset maybe buy a battery tender and a new battery. This WILL just start your car or truck unless the vehicle is completely dead.

Tl;Dr Starts with a few attempts. Bought this as my 04 cummins drains the battery, within 2 days, to a point it wont turn over (11ish volts). First attempt lv light came on unit and truck didnt start. Unplugged cables and attempted again. Truck started up strong. Ive now started the truck 4 times this way and still have 3-4 bars. Never starts on the first attempt but hasnt been more than 4 yet. Cables dont get hot just warm. Have another cummins with completely dead batteries I plan to attempt a batteryless start with out of curiosity and will update when I do

Tried to jump a 6.0 diesel and all I got was a low voltage warning. Jump box was fully charged and all 4 blue lights were on. Put the jump box back on the charger for another 8hrs and got the same results. I do not recommend this product. This has been one of the more disappointing products I have ordered. When you need it to work it needs to work.

Just what I needed for an emergency while riding my harley, ski-doo or polaris atv as they all have electric start but no emergency way to start if the battery dies.
I needed to start a generator engine from a completely dead battery. Using the boost function on the IM23, it started right up. I used it to start the engine 4 times, and the battery life on the IM23 was still at 96%. That's IMAZING. This engine required 525 cold cranking amps. The IM23 handled the demand easily. The instruction booklet is very clear and done well along with the packaging and unlike most of the competing products I researched, this one includes a plug in transformer for recharging and also a USB cable. Most only offer the USB cable. Obviously, I don't know yet how long the battery will keep taking new charges. Anyway, great price and well presented product.
