I work in construction and use this almost everyday and have no issues. It is much more efficient than clipping your tape measure to your pocket or belt as you can remove it or put it back with using only one hand (and it doesn't tear your pants up) . When using my belt or pocket I usually had to use both hands to clip it back in. Doesn't seem like a huge issue but when you use a tape measure all day it can make a big difference. I've used this for about 5 months and its gotten a lot of use and its still as good as the day it arrived.

It took a couple days to get used to having my tape measure at the 4 o’clock position after years of it being on my pants pocket; but I’ll never go back! I love this thing! It keeps my tape nicely secured just above the hip and I’m able to quickly grab it and re-holster it mindlessly with one hand. Going strong 6 months in the masonry trade! You won’t know how great it is till you forget it at home. Hand made in the US by a small business was a huge plus
