Woohoo!!! Pancakes on Keto!!!! My sister said she visited the bathroom a lot after having this but I think it's because of a lack of fiber in her diet. If you aren't regular with fiber you may experience this too. I had no problems and neither did my other girlfriends. Not the best pizza crust, it's more like a hard biscuit crust but I love this product! Instead of vegetable oil I used coconut oil and it was fabulous. No complaints!

Not necessarily that much better for you. After I used the mix for pancakes I calculated the calories and it's higher than traditional pancakes.
This stuff is a Low Carbers dream... I thought bread was gone forever. Cabquick is now a staple in this low carb house. For all the people who wrote negative reviews on the price. That price is for a 3 pound box. I went to Carbalos.com as one reviewer recommended and they are selling a 1 pound box for the same price this is per pound. READ THE FINE PRINT PEOPLE!

I love this stuff! My favorite things to make is the "cheddar bay" biscuits. The taste and texture is exactly like that restaurant. I made it into pizza dough recently and my kids even loved it! So easy to use. I did NOT like it as pancakes though. That was not good.

I'm a Carb Addict who's been on a low carb diet for over four months now. And while the diet is *highly* effective for me, it doesn't change the fact that I deeply miss bread products in my diet. There are candy bars and treats out there that are made to be low in carbs, but there aren't really any truly low carb breads/muffins/baking mixes here in the grocery stores where I live (small-town). If you're a low carb dieter, you know more than anyone that breakfast is the meal you'll really struggle with on this particular diet. Breakfast is an important part of the day, but most people are far too rushed in the mornings to sit down and eat it. So they grab a pack of crackers, chips, snack sized cookies or pop tart OR pop a frozen waffle, toaster streudel, or hot pocket in the microwave and scarf it down. While these provide a pretty good hold until lunch, you can't have ANY of this when keeping a low carb count. More easily said, pre-packaged snacks and quickie foods are a NO-NO for LCHF. I miss waffles. I miss biscuits, crust on my pies, muffins, etc. Carbquick is going to allow these things back into my diet while also providing me fiber. Are these things going to taste exactly like they would if made with real flour? Absolutely not. But as far as providing an acceptable substitute, I can see now that Carbquick is going to go above and beyond. I've only made waffles, but they were good in a pinch. They weren't to die for, but it's because I opted to make them lower calorie (no heavy cream, no butter, or bells and whistles). I imagine with a little time and effort, you can really do some great stuff with this Flour. Bottomline, it works for me. I can now even store my waffle batter in the fridge in a carafe and throw a waffle on the iron each morning when I feel like I need a little extra sustenance to carry me to lunchtime. Not to mention biscuits, pizza crust, and just about anything else you could do with regular flour. I'm happy and I can definitely see myself keeping this in my pantry.
