I got WLS, and therefore my stomach is very small. I LOVE these bowls because they have lids, they are silicone, nothing sticks, they’re great for meal prep or measured amounts of food, and I can cover and refrigerate if I can’t finish. They’re great for leftovers too. I know they were made for kids, but being that I can only eat as much as a baby/toddler, or less, these are perfect. If you are a Bariatric Patient, this set is perfect for you! I use a lap desk in bed, so these bowls dont slip on the surface, like other regular bowls and plates. It’s supposed to have suction on high hairs, but it’s perfect for my lap desk because it stays in place. They’re easy to clean too. Plus they can go from refrigerator, freezer, to microwave.

I do love that they come with a lid, and they do seem pretty heavy duty silicone. I would agree they are hard to get to suction at tones. You have to press down right in the very center which means you can necessarily fill it and then move it to the high chair or table or wherever your baby is eating. Once they are down though they do seem to pretty hard to get off, even getting the tab up was tricky. But not being able to fill ahead might be a deal breaker for me.

I can't speak to the durability, suction power or how easy this is to clean as I bought it from a baby registry. I can tell you the mom that chose these does her research on products and I'm sure she chose these because of those features. I do know they are a great color and she loved them.

***My honest review below remains the same but I am updating to add that Weesprout has absolutely blown me away with their excellent customer service, so I added an extra star. You should feel confident buying this product knowing that if you aren't completely satisfied they are going to make it right. After my initial 3-star review posted, they contacted me and asked if I wanted a full refund! I don't want to go into full detail here but the most meaningful thing was a handwritten card delivered to my address. Y'all, this company is legit about customer satisfaction so if you're at all unsure, give them a chance. People like Weesprout should absolutely be given preference over the foreign-run cheap-o crap you can buy online. I'd give them 10 stars for customer satisfaction category. **** Bowls are a great size, shape, color, easy to clean. Ok. But here are some issues. 1. Suction...when you get a good suction, its great! Tends to stick at annoying times on my counter and sink. Easy to remove though. First time I put it on the tray, baby grabbed at it and couldn't move it. Later I took the bowl of leftovers out and pressed it down on the tray and it would not suction. The directions state that you have to not only have a perfectly clean surface and bottom (and maybe add some water to the bottom), but must push in the center of the bowl...I dunno about you but I purchased these because they have lids, which means there are leftovers in the bowl and I'm not putting my hands into a bunch of mush. Its hard to push down evenly by the rim because well, it's entirely made of silicone so it's very flexible. Which brings me to... 2. Lids don't stay on under "normal" use. Maybe y'all are really careful with your silicone dishes, but I tend to be a little careless with my non-breakables. I loved that the description said "throw it in your diaper bag" full of snacks. But friends, after receiving this I decided I would never ever put it in a diaper bag and expect the lid to stay on. Again, its a silicone bowl and flexible, so the tiniest bump flexes the side and the lid will leak or even come off. Its fine to put on the lid and store in fridge, but the lid SITS on the bowl, it doesn't seal with any kind of authority. Yeah there's a little internal lip but it is weak sauce. In short, the suction works if the bowl is empty and you can press down in the middle and have some water handy to prep the bottom. The lids sit on top and are not trustworthy. Not worth the price, sorry.

One of the areas that I didn't like the suction bowl was when my kid was able to put his hand on the suction pad it easily seperated from the surface. When I tried to remove it from a eagle's perspective it didn't want to come off. I recommend adding some water in the suction pad for more grip.
