I bought a 6 feet shelf/organizer and I needed something to hold it still as the floor has carpet. This furniture anchor is perfect for that purpose. I just used 2 of these near the top of the shelf on the left and right pillars, and it held up the shelf really good. I like how the straps are reusable and can be removed by picking the retention clips. My little kid have been accidentally bumping to the shelf a lot of times and there is no sign of the anchors failing. Highly recommended.
I installed these on a very lightweight bookcase, just to be safe. I used two. Each has broken in a different place, one on the wall side and one on the bookcase side.

Spend the extra money and buy a better quality strap. The wall anchors are terrible. The tie breaks with little effort. I can't trust this to do it's job when I have a very active, practically running 14 month old.

These seem to do the job. Keep in mind you need 2 sets of brackets/zip ties for most pieces of furniture. It’s a little difficult to get the zip ties through the brackets but luckily you don’t have to do it very often. There’s not much wiggle room once installed so accessing plugs can be an issue. But they seem sturdy so far and our toddler is a climber.
