My "spikes" are awesome. No worries about slipping and falling on the ice. Once I got to smooth ground (work, a store, in the house) I quickly flipped them up and out of the way. Walking across the drive way to the garage, flip them down. They are sturdy and don't bend, easy to install, and sharp. I can feel them dig into the ice or even my wooden front steps, that can be quite slick. I would buy them again,if ever needed, without hesitation. Well worth the investment.!!!
