I use this to repel roaches in my apartment. The smell is kind of pleasant and it seems to be working with repelling roaches. I only removed one star because after a few weeks the bottle no longer smells as pleasant. But overall, I ordered it again since it works and doesn't stink.

A good value compared to most, but the cedar scent is not the most pleasing and does not seem to last that long either. We will use it, but will try another brand next time in the hope of a nicer cedar scent.
Wanted cedar chest smell. This is closer to cat pee. Wanted to use it to put in diffuser and to rehab old cedar clothes blocks. Gonna try to use it as a bug deterrent out in the yard.. ugh!

This smelled sooo awful. I have bought from this company for a couple years. This is the 3rd bottle in a row that is so gross and not at all an essential oil. This smells like a wood version of a chemical cleaner. Not the strong, lovely smell of fresh cedar. I went ahead and made a batch of soap with it, hoping it would change the smell as it cured. I’m convinced this ‘essential oil’ is some synthetic chemical. As I don’t really know what it is, I don’t feel it is safe to use and had to toss several pounds of soap. Soooo much money and time lost. I would use another brand/company.
Product contains a dropper although was delivered without one, making dispensing harder than it should be.
Cedarwood has a very distinct strong earthy wood smell. This smells like rubbing alcohol. Even paint thinner. 100% Cedarwood is a thicker oil. This obviously has been heavily diluted with alcohol. These reviews have seriously questioning Amazons customers knowledge of essential oils.
