I use these to lock our rv batteries to camper. We have had 2 rv batteries stolen in the past. I installed these to at least slow the criminals down. I was actually surprised how tough they were to cut the extra strap off since I only needed these long enough to go around a battery. Ended up using a cordless grinder to have to cut them off.
I guess this is an updated review. Anyway, I love these things. They look great and I’ve not only used them for mounting lights, but I also mounted a GMRS Ghost antenna on my rack. I wouldn’t be mad though if they included black oxide hardware in addition to or instead of the shiny silver stuff.
