It is a decent coffee and I like that it is industrial compostable. This espresso roast was the only kind I liked. The French decaf smells like diesel fuel and tastes terrible.

First off, I got sent the wrong kind (they sent French Roast instead of Espresso Roast). I wasn’t able to return or replace them, so I had to give them a shot since I’m out the money anyways. Flavor wise, the French Roast pretty good. The coffee is strong, but sometimes has a minty aftertaste. HOWEVER, you cannot finish a cup without getting a mouthful of coffee grounds. The pods weren’t even punctured or open, they just don’t filter well. Was super disappointed because I was looking for a good compostable option in Espresso Roast, but I won’t even try ordering in hopes of getting the correct flavor.
We have been getting this coffee for about a year and just recently with the French roast decaf, we have had several cups explode and grounds go everywhere! I looked at some of the reviews and we are not alone with this happening? Has Amazon reached out to SF coffee? What is being done with this problem?

Best coffee pods I've found. I like the flavor and the green packaging is a definite pulse. I've not had grounds leak form the pod as others have reported and we go through a 100 count a month. Highly recommend.

We were introduced to this fantastic company by family many years ago and have been fans/customers ever since. We've never had a pod "burst" open. We tried several varieties and eventually settled on Fog Chaser for the dark roast flavor. I love strong coffee so I brew my cup with 5-6 oz. water. My husband (retired Navy accustomed to the coffee on ships and crowded offices) drank whatever was in the pot, however, now he makes a 10 oz. cup with MY USED POD! And he says it's "strong." Therefore, our pods do a double service. The reviews that describe defective pods are 4+ years old. Amazon is very good about accepting returns, esp. for a substandard product, so give this family owned company a try. You might want to start with a variety pack to find your variety.
