I was missing the vibrant red color that I had after I went to the salon about a month and a half ago. My stylist suggested a red depositing shampoo and I found this brand had a shampoo and conditioner in the shade of red I wanted back! My hair had faded to a lovely copper color, but I missed the red. This product works! I’m so pleased with these results and it didn’t take a ton of product. All I did was put the shampoo in for about 5-10 minutes. By then enough time had passed for me to wash out the shampoo and it took a while for it to run clear. I didn’t think it cleaned my oily hair well enough so I used a little bit of my usual shampoo so that it felt clean. Then I put the conditioner in and waited another 5-10 minutes before washing that out. Again, it took a while to get it almost running clear. When I got out, I used a white towel that I didn’t care about to check that I had rinsed it out enough. I didn’t and it resulted in some red streaks from my ends to be left on the towel. I went back to the shower and used my usual color safe shampoo and conditioner and just stood with my head under the water for a long while. When I was pretty sure that it was clear, I used the other side of that white towel to test it again and there was no red stain that time. Pros: Very effective! No color residue left on my hands. No staining as long as your rinse your hair out enough. Cons: Not very good at cleansing my oily roots. It takes forever for it to fully wash out lol. I needed to use my usual shampoo and conditioner with these products. Overall, I’m definitely going to be getting this again!

I loved how bright my hair looked after the wash, but be careful this stuff dyes your skin as well. Im lucky and often have pink patches on my skin, so it was hardly noticable. However, for someone of cooler skintone, it may become more apparent. The scent was very citrusy and nice, and the scent hung around for a while.

The Viral shampoo and conditioner do a fantastic job of maintaining the red in my hair. I have used the Viral and Gem product lines form Celeb, and find this (Viral) to be a better product. It's a couple bucks more, but does a much better job. Pro tip: in the shower, I mix this with a normal conditioner before applying it to my hair. It helps me stretch my dollar, and prevents my hands from turning red when I use this conditioner.

Amazing color!! The picture on the left was after a week in Hawaii swimming, showering without the color so it would fade and not bleed everywhere while on vacation so for a week prior I just washed it with normal shampoo and conditioner. The right picture was the day I came home I washed it and let the conditioner sit for a good 20 mins! Back to normal. I am obsessed with this product! Well worth the money to keep my red vibrant!

I attached a picture. Left is salon day, middle is a couple weeks later (my hair fades very fast after trying a cheaper brand I could purchase locally (yeah, I knew it was a mistake). Right picture is after Viral saved my color - this was with about 8 mins of sitting on my hair. Worth every penny. Smells great, doesn’t leave your hair dry, and recharged the color. Everyone is right tho - either wear gloves or do in the shower because it is potent.
