The light would not turn off unless you hit the main power switch behind the mirror and now it is bright for a whole 10 seconds, when you first turn it on, then the light becomes so dim that there is no reason for it at all. DO NOT BUY THIS MIRROR, unless your only buying it for the mirror and not the lights. Previous review: “I really loved this mirror until the lights started to malfunction, they can not be turned off by the center button anymore and now I have to click the one in the back. Not a horrible problem but still annoying. Good mirror though and I love how portable it is.”
