Right out of the box: First impressions- I immediately noticed the width around the neck. Perfect cut. It isn’t too wide. The fabric is soft and has movement. Quality fabric. The feel and look of it is perfect. A cravat should be soft. If the fabric is too thick, it feels stiff as uncomfortable. This item is perfect. The color, the feel, the look. I love it. I ordered the pink one today. You can expect that I will be buying many more from this seller.

This is, I will say, a very nice tie in general. It looked really nice with my period vest and coat, and the craftsmanship is quite splendid. My only problem is that it is a bit short for me. I am a big man, with a large neck and though it tied beautifully, in a barrel knot, it was just a little bit short for the opening in my vest. I strongly reccomend this item though for quality but if you have a large neck, ou may need a larger size.
