Blackout curtains are a pain to install. Plus, our baby sleeps in our room and I have my desk nearby and I want the light in the room. Can't have it both ways, right? Actually, now I do - we have the Slumberpod over our baby's crib (we bought one after measuring dimensions to make sure the slumberpod would fit) and even with relatively bright light in the room, it's pitch dark in there for my baby and he sleeps 10 times better. Great great product and a must buy. Easy to transport too. Well designed.

Assembling this product in a confined space (like a hotel room) is difficult, dangerous, and frustrating. The bars don’t slip into place easily, and if furniture is in the way it won’t open. Buy at your own risk.
