Great lasting batteries at cheaper prices. Definitely worth it!
The Amazon Basics D cell batteries were clearly a returned and open item. The box labels were torn and the original white label was cut, and the box resealed with clear tape. 8 of the 12 batteries were loose and not plastic sealed. 6 of the 12 batteries discharged 1.62 volts. The remaining 6 (included the 4 sealed) discharged at 1.64 volts. I would return the item, except for the hassle. Very disappointed.

We needed to stock up on batteries for hurricane season. These are a good price, and the box is so much easier and convenient to get into than that plastic packaging of other batteries. I didn't put 5 stars because we haven't actually used them yet to see how well they work and if they hold up for a long time. But I assume they will work as well as any other batteries.
Super fast shipping and they work well. I have them in all my Mr. Beams around the yard and they usually last at least one winter.
