When the package arrived, it was so light weight, we didn’t realize there was a phone inside. This phone is so light, you can almost blow it off the desk. I guess it’s a feat of technology to be able to make something so cheap and lightweight - Chinese products excel at this. It did get the job done and immediately went back in the box. We’ve nicknamed this phone “cowgirl”, and if you read the instruction manual in the photos, you’ll understand why. I was laughing so hard when I read it, I almost wet my pants. It’s hilarious! The base of this phone is way too light to be utilized as a desk phone. When you pick up the receiver to answer the phone, the base flies up off of the desk. It may be OK if used as a wall phone but it does not work as a desk phone. In addition to the light base, the volume through the hand set is extremely low. Others can hear you but can barely hear them. I really don't know how this phone became an "Amazon's Choice" phone as it was not a "My Choice" phone.
