I had to use my die grinder to open up the half inch opening, but who cares!
It looks like my question got taken down for some reason after I had asked about it fitting the AAM 11.5 axle. It says that it fits the GM 11.5 14 bolt pattern which is AAM (Dodge uses the same axle). One reply had nothing to do with fitment, the other reply from someone that purchased said it DID fit the axle. So I gambled and purchased. The AAM has a bolt pattern of approximately 4-3/4 using M12 (about 1/2") bolts center to center. I received the product today and the center to center measurement is approximately 4-3/8 (4.340" to be exact) on the largest slots, so it will NOT fit the axle yoke. That being said, it looked to be a well built product and would have likely done the job that it needed to do and I could have given it 5 stars if so. If this was just a product rating, I would give it that.. But the misinformation on the site and actual measurements contradict. I'm wondering if the V1.0 was overall larger. This tool could easily work for all axles if the just enlarged the outside profile a little bit as well as the slots' lengths. Super simple to do. But for now, I think they should remove in the description that it fits the 11.5, because it does not.
