I bought this for a new business location we're moving into soon and our electrician did not want to work with it due to the very weird wire punch down order. Unlike most patch panels where you'll punch all 4 pairs down in a straight line, this one requires you to punch 2 pairs on the top row and two pairs on the bottom row. This probably causes cross-talk between different pairs of different cables which would explain all the negative reviews about bad connectivity with this panel. Who knows - it might have worked fine but neither the electrician or myself are willing to gamble dozens of man-hours on something that might not work well.

No need to speed a lot of money for something this simple. Connectors are great and make it much easier to mount wires in connectors and then attach to base. Great value for the money. Everything else I saw was about twice as expensive and would be harder to mount wires. Does not come with screws to mount to wall or shelf. Comes with push in quick connectors for some type of custom housing installation but you can easily mount with some pan head screws.

Seems well built, Has caps for the bunch-down blocks and about 1/2 needed amount zip-ties are furnished. Holds punch-downs well with good connections, ports a good jack contacts pins are lined and not bent. All around the unit feels sturdy and connections and punch-downs. Will buy again when needed.
