Just to be clear, I took the photos wearing shorts and tube socks, but in real life I'll wear jeans with these amazing, heavy, strong, COMFORTABLE boots. They're very well made, great looking, and they make me a few inches taller, which I love. Mostly I'm happy because I know I won't slip on anything anymore. Sometimes I help out in the delivery department of a local flower shop on their busiest days (Valentine's, Mother's Day, Holidays). The cement floors are often wet because of all the flower detritus and the houses often have steps and uneven terrain with snow or other materials around. When I'm carrying an $800 orchid display, the last thing I want to do is slip, and with these boots I know I'm secure. Supposedly they're rated not to slip on oil spread on a metal surface. Can you imagine? I'm not going to test it, but I believe it. I also like the yellow and orange "sherbet" coloring in the soles. I think they're stylish and cool -- especially for something that's normally not so pretty, like a non-slip steel-toed work boot. Well done!

Seems like a quality product only had them for a short time
It's a really comfortable boot but it is not waterproof as the product description states. Just found that out over the past weekend with all of the snow. I probably should have selected a different boot and saved these for summer use.
Had 4 pairs of Bates without a problem before this, but within 1 week the rubber cap on the toe peeled away on the inward side of the toe on both boots. This allowed a small leak of water if I stepped in a puddle. 2 weeks later and the left boot busted a seam between the leather outer and synthetic inner layer of the outside of the boot. Also, my feet sweat a lot, but I've never had an issue with my feet pruning in other waterproof boots. My feet are always pruned after a shift at work, and the gortex lining feels like it wants to come out of the boot with my foot. Only gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the boots are light and wear more like shoes. Helps keep my feet from hurting or my legs from aching by the end of the day.

I dont want to trash this product, as you get what you pay for, and this isnt a terribly bad investment. It seems sturdy and hard wearing for its weight ratio. However, some warnings: There is a fabric portion under the side zip that connects both halves of the boot. This gets stuck constantly when attempting to zip up the boot. I assume its to keep water out, and it should do that just fine, however it makes putting them on tedious. I purchased the Extra Wide (I have hobbit feet). This isnt a good nomenclature. I would have to assume this is somewhere between a 2E, but closer to a 3E. I anticipate popping a seam within a year, two tops. If you wear 4Es, Id recommend passing. The worst offender: There is no tab/loop at the heel of the boot to assist in pulling them on. This makes putting on the boot a bit of a time consuming effort, and puts additional stress on the tongue as its the only leverage you have.
