This fire lamp is a bit smaller than I had hoped, but still fun. The flame looks sort of realistic. I'm the cubmaster for our local Cub Scouts pack. I plan on using this for some indoor "fires" at our pack meetings this year.
This 'fake fire lamp' looks great from a distance, it's like a bubbling cauldron decoration. Overall, I really like it. A couple notes. The plug-in cable is short, so you have to factor that it. It also doesn't have an on-off switch, so plugging it in automatically turns it on. The fan isn't super noisy, but it also isn't super quiet, either. That's just something to be aware of (in my opinion, a good thing, because it reminds you to unplug it when you're leaving the room or going to bed). I'll probably use this as a prop in my Halloween Bookstagram photos because it fits the theme perfectly.

I acquired a small cast iron cauldron and I bought this flame lamp to put inside, and it exceeded every expectation I had! The lamp is duarable, easy to use and even comes with a remote control. I love that the flame is so realistic and it could be seen easily from the street. There are so many creative options for the use of this flame lamp and it's such a great value, it really is a must have. It shipped quickly and was delivered on time as well. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this produict and I absolutely recommend it.

The fan is so LOUD that I would RETURN the product if I were not going to use it in a presentation that will feature the warning sound made by huge cranes when they move molten steel or other objects. Clue: warning sirens of cranes are extremely loud. The item came quickly and was well-packaged and true to size. Update = DIED after nicely blowing for less than an afternoon = Reduced rating from a [generous] 3 stars to 1 star. BUYER BEWARE.

DO NOT let the photos deceive you unless you are a garden gnome this is not going to work for ANY theme decoration. Price point is high for what it is. The blower motor that makes he "Fake" flames dance is noisy on the level of an inflatable lawn ornament and spins at random speeds for no apparent reason (no joke). You can do better for your display. NOTE this review gave me an option to rate features of this product one such feature was a 'remote', I did not receive a remote with this.

It looks really cute, but the fan does not work at all, even though the light switches on OK .... I bought it to use this Halloween . Very disappointing!
Although it flickers a red light, it is very small unit thus the effect is likewise small. The unit also is cheaply made of entirely plastic. There is no on/off switch. It just plugs and unplugs. Not made to last past a party or two. To be returned.
