Very easy and convenient packaging
Have tried just about every type of emergency food on the market, and Mountain house is over and way above the others for taste and texture. They use real meat potatoes and vegetables, no chickenor beef etc base flavoring. Well worth the cost as you'll eat these meals. Great as long as there's a clean water source either hot or cold can be used, it just takes a bit longer with cold and you may need to add a bit more than the package requires. My whole family loves these meals, and would fight over the freeze dried ice cream sandwiches.

This product is very convenient, easy to open, and just enough for what I needed it for. I am on a 21 day fast, and have to take communion everyday, in this fit right in.
I’ve always had good luck with Mountain House freeze dried food meals. Simple to make & flavors are good. SoMe definitely prefer some meals over others, but when I’m out hiking, camping & hunting I’m normally starving so I eat them all!! Good, Easy & Filling

I purchased this product based on the reviews however I find it misleading. The noodles are horrible glass noodles and broth is not authentic Thai boat at all. It has the right color for sure but not the taste!!!
I buy this from my local grocer, and refuse to buy anything else. I went looking for it recently, and when they didn't have it, I panicked and was worried they wouldn't carry it anymore... And knew I would likely never make gumbo again until I found it. Dramatic, maybe... But this is seriously that good! We make ours with chicken, sausage and okra, and it is always unbelievable! We try to make enough to freeze and save for a later date, but we never have enough left to freeze!
Although still sealed, cups were all dented from being crushed/loose in the box and the crackers are VERY TINY ... Not like the round crackers in other cups. Other than that the taste and freshness were good.
