I had read that Norwegian Salmon was considered the best- well I agree. I would buy again in the future.
Salmon was well packed and frozen in container, & has a very mild flavor. The portions sizes at 5 oz. are really small, so my husband eats 2. My only problem with this product is the price. The $100 for 14 5-oz. portions is $23 per pound! You can get farm raised Norwegian salmon at Whole foods for $10 per pound. While I like the product, I would only order if I couldn’t get it locally due to high price.
This was a Christmas present shipped to to another state to my sis. She was home when it arrived, and there WASN’T ANY DRY ICE IN THE PACKING. It ARRIVED PARTIALLY THAWED OUT, but it was still cool, so she thought it was safe. She put it in the freezer immediately. She ate a steak last night, and HAS FOOD POISONING THIS MORNING. I’m so mad I could scream! She has chronic digestive illnesses and vomiting and diarrhea affects her more seriously than with healthy people. And she is missing her company Christmas luncheon today over this! I’m so embarrassed and worried about her now! And pissed at this company.
