These were just meh. Nothing special really, they were decent. The other varieties of Milky Way candy bars are much, much better. They amped up the chocolate but it really didn't stand out. I still think the Milky Way Midnight Dark and Milky Way Caramel are the best of the line.

These are the best candy bars IN THE WORLD! My fav's have always been Milky Way or 3 Musketeers. I have a new favorite, Milky Way Fudge. It is Chocolate heaven! It is God's gift to Chocolate lovers. Please do not buy! You don't need them, I do. I want them ALL so please pay attention to this horrible, 1* rating and do not buy. ;o)
I do love these Candy Bars but they came so messed up. They had clearly melted and were unable to be eatien. Tried customer service but non returnable. Hopefully yours will come perfect.

There are three flaws in this product and a bad policy that prevent me from giving a positive review. You can decide if these issues are meaningful to you or not. First, I object to misleading advertising. These cookies are represented in the photos as being "approximately 3 1/4" in diameter. My childhood bakery in NY sold black and white cookies in the 4.5-5" size range, so that's what I was used to. Advertising these as large was a bit of a stretch, but they looked so small when I opened up the tin that I broke out my ruler. I measured all 10 cookies and not one of them exceeded 3" in any direction. It's a small difference from 3 to 3.25, but I would expect them to average 3.25" based on the description. They could legitimately be advertised as approximately 3" as a maximum. Overstating the size by even this small amount did nothing but create an expectation the product couldn't meet. Second, and more important, I opened one cookie and found it dry and bordering on stale. Doesn't matter what size they are if they aren't fresh and tasty. Maybe if I heated the cookie a bit to freshen it up or dunked it in cocoa, it might have been okay. Since it seemed a bit old, I looked for any date on the package. The date was eight months in the future. I don't know how long these were already sitting in the Amazon warehouse, but with another eight months to ship after they are already seeming a bit stale, I would not count on receiving a bakery-fresh premium product. Third, based more on the taste and texture of the cookies than their mis-represented size, the value isn't there. If this was a great cookie that brought back memories of my childhood neighborhood bakery, I would be okay with paying the premium price on occasion to order a batch. They just don't stand up. Based on the size and quantity, if these were really good, I might value the item at about half of the $30 we paid for it. Being slightly stale, I might not be unhappy at $10. On the positive side, the packaging and presentation is excellent. If it were a gift that's all about appearance, this would be a winner. Since I didn't buy these cookies to look at them, that's just not enough. The frosting is reminiscent of the cookies I used to buy. The vanilla side is a little harder coating than the chocolate, just like those fresh bakery cookies always were. It's just the dry cake/cookie that falls short. They could be slightly overbaked or stale, or the dough was a little low in fat content - whatever the reason the cookie needs some moisture to make it more edible. This brings me to the policy issue. I have received an expensive package of dry cookies that are almost edible and marginally misrepresented in size. The policy on this item allows for no returns, so it appears I've thrown my money away with no recourse. I hate to write a negative review about a small business product in an economy where we all need to give each other a hand, but I see no alternative.
