I bought this because I didn’t want to wait several more days for the Motorcraft brand one. It was delivered the next day and it took me nearly an hour to install. The broken Ford part was reinstalled as a sanity check after fumbling with this replacement and the difference was very noticeable. This part is slightly larger than the original and was a real challenge to install in my 2005 F150 FX4. I got it in eventually and destroyed some of the outside trim in the process. It snaps closed fine but does not close completely like the Ford part. I regret not spending the extra for the actual Ford part, so if you can afford it get the Ford part. If not, this one will work, but you will swear while installing.
