So apparently the board at First Alert wasn’t satisfied with making all their products in Mexico to avoid paying American a decent wage. This extinguisher I just got says Mexico on the box but the product is stamped Made in China. I should have bought an Amerex. I will next time.

As advertised! Arrived quickly! Packaging excellent inside and out. Arrived undamaged and in full operational readiness! Came with heavy duty bracket for hanging at any height. Bracket came w/o screws which is fine by me. Recommend at least 2 inch woodscrews to secure mounting bracket, be sure to allow an extra 1/2 inch length or so to woodscrews if mounting through drywall and into wall stud. Highly recommend this product with empathess on amount of product, AND more than 1 is better i. e. at least one for each level of house, an additional in kitchen and one for garage. One should not be concerned with cost, fires move fast, be ready to attack, have plenty of large capacity extinguisher's at the ready! Also, a good idea to invest in a (K) rated extinguisher for grease fires. Watch videos on attacking a grease fire using a type (K) rated extinguisher. Anothing addition would be a CO2 rated extinguisher for attacking gas/oil type fires. The latter 2 types are an investment as they are upper tier extinguishers but a wise investment vs losing or preventing severe damage to home or business AND saving life(s). Your Insurance Company will love you for doing this and may even receive a discount on one's Homeowner Insurance. Lastly, there is another type of extinguisher available, Halon Type, but does require more indepth training. Halon does not smother a fire to extinguish, rather it removes oxygen from the atmosphere to extinguish, by doing so it can be hazardous to the operator, pets and animals, so be advised, if using a Halon Type, evacuate personel, animals AND the operator should be wearing SCUBA (self-contained-breathing apparatus), NOT A GAS MASK! SCUBA delivers oxygen to the operator, typically worn by a Fire Fighter. HALON has it's purpose although very effective for extinguishing an electrictrical fire from sensitive electronics i. e. radio equipment, it does require specialized training. That is all...

It's kinda hard to properly review a fire extinguisher until you actually have to use it. Of course I hope I never have to use it. Really, I cannot blow my money just to prove that it works or to review the fire-putting-out-ability of it, so... I mounted the 'stinguisher using the provided mounting bracket and I am confident that it will work if/when I do need it. Anyway, it arrived on time, properly charged with the pin still attached with a good mounting bracket.
Great size. I would not say it’s good for small spaces. It is a big item, however for safety, I would recommend a big extinguisher for all homes. You can find a space for it in a corner somewhere. It’s better to have than not have.
