Should have read the reviews before purchasing. The Amazon website clearly says 12 ply as does the product packaging. I opened one up to see for myself. This is a substandard product and the product description is false.

I had akin ulcer on my elbow so I used 2 of these when it would be better to fold a 4 x 4 twice rather than use 3 - 4 of the 2 x 2's.
The pad in each package is half or less of the thickness of what you purchase from a USA Drug store.
I count 4 plies, not 12 as advertised. The are significantly less than 2" by 2". I returned them.
These look like someone did the worst lattice work with thread and called it a gauze pad. I don’t know how they get away with saying they are 12 ply either. 12 ply should be nice and thick. These are super thin and see through from all the big gaps in the threads.

The threads in this are thin and the weave is very wide. As a result there is little substance to this pad. It certainly does not have the thickness one would expect from a 12-layer bandage. What a gyp!

basic 2x2 gauze pads but they paper wrapper is a bit large. It does make it easier to open but takes up more space. If I use all these up (I hope not!) I'd buy them again.
