I was surprised at the taste of these things. I was expecting a little more of that earthy beety taste but really they don’t have that taste at all. I’m personally a “no candy” person and really don’t like things very sweet and sugary, so to me they were plenty sweet and fruity. I would consider them a “candy” for all intensive purposes for me. I’ve been eating one per day and while I’m not sure my memory or focus has changed I can say it’s a nice “snack”/“candy break” chew that does in fact have some nutritional benefits. If you can control yourself and just eat one they can be helpful as a substitute if you do tend to eat candy. They are a little expensive and I’m not sure it’s something worth doing a very long time. I would be more likely to invest in it long term if I could get it at $1 per chew(or day) but over that seems a little too steep for something I personally don’t believe will truly help memory, but there may be some component/nutrient that does somewhat help a person focus even if not reliably. As far as they go though I don’t really compare them to starbursts, I think they have more of a “Now and Later” consistently. The outer layer more specifically that is soft(the now part of the now and later I suppose) is like what these things seem like but all the way through. They definitely have a blueberry taste as well.

Quality and great flavor
I have seen these chews advertised and wondered if they were everything the ads said they were. I’m still not sure I have increased mental clarity (someone please come up with a simple at home test that is accurate) but these chews have a good texture, taste good and contain 150 mg of resveratrol, 100 mg coffee fruit extract and 300 mg of beetroot powder (aides with nitric oxide production in the body). There are no artificial colors, artificial sweeteners or preservatives, no gmo’s, no gluten and they are vegan friendly. They also contain 20 calories per chew (recommended dose is one per day). They do contain raw cane sugar and 4g of carbohydrate, 2 of which are from added sugar. They are manufactured for and distributed by an American company but no where does it state the origins of the chews. A bag of chews is a month’s supply, so they aren’t inexpensive but they pack a punch in one single chew and would be worth your while to give them a try.
