Well is is a economy product, but--- Found it to be off 1.0 degree Centigrade all the way from ice point up the scale. I guess if you knew that you could subtract exactly 1 degree and it would be accurate, as it is consistent. Rather disappointed as that is roughly 2 degrees F, and that is quite a large error for any thermometer, particularly with such a nice large scale. Good points: large scale, well made, and economical. Don't know if this is a single unit problem or whether they would all be that far off. I am tempted (considering the price) to buy another one just to satisfy my curiosity.
This thermometer is in Celsius only. Directions are entirely in Chinese! Unless you read Celsius and it doesn't matter whether you can read Chinese or not, do not waste ten dollars on this thermometer!

It works fine, just a little different than the thermometer I grew up using.
OK only as a quick read thermometer like best for quick dip in a river, lake, hot tub, pool and the like. Not good for a fridge as it changes temp as you read it. Very nice pocket clip and handy case. It seems to test pretty accurate bot changes to quickly. Did not work well for my application, otherwise I recommend it and it is as described. Very well packaged.

Figured with all these thermometers needed due to covid19, I couldn't tell how accurate they all were. I used this thermometer to see how accurate my digital, no contact thermometers are.

I don't think this thermometer is made for measuring body temperature. When you put it in your mouth, the temperature changes as it should, but as soon as you take it out, the temperature immediately starts to go back down- it doesn't 'hold' the maximum reading like a normal fever thermometer does. If you're reading it for someone else, it is probably fine.

It broke the very first time I went to use it... The very day after it arrived. The glass is very weak and the tip popped right off as I was simply sliding it out of the case!
