This worked AWESOME!!!! It took literally one application and my daughter stopped sucking her thumb. She woke up gagging at the taste when she woke up that morning. She had no idea that I applied it to her thumb in the middle of the night. I also told her that before this that her thumb was going to start falling off if she kept sucking it. It would turn green first, then black, then fall off if she was still sucking her thumb by age 5. She never looked back. My daughter is 3 1/2 and we have tried many things to get her to stop sucking her thumb with absolutely no luck. She didn't suck on her thumb during the day, it was only when she got her blanket and when she slept, so it was almost more of a habit. Within a few days of using mavala stop she no long put her thumb in her mouth. Anytime she would forget and put her thumb in her mouth she would get an horrible look on her face and stop. I would definitely recommend this!
This is a great product that really works. I tried many remedies and my doctor was no help. Biotin was no help. When I first got this I only put on one coat every few days, which did nothing. Then I started putting on 5 coats per day and the results have been astounding. There is a slight sheen after applying but this goes way, so men could use without it looking like they had on nail polish. This is worth trying if you have splitting, thin, flaky nails, but you have to be diligent and put on enough. Also takes more than 5 -7 days, but don't give up.
