Makes a brilliant milk substitute in coffee, milkshakes, french toast (with or without chocolate, but if you have the option...), and probably many other things like cake, chocolate panna cotta, ganache... mostly I'm thinking of ways you can have Nutella-flavored things without the extra sugariness of Nutella. Anyway, this gives you solid options.

I bought first "nut milk" in my life today in a local store, because of advertisement only 2 ingredients "water and hazelnuts"......here's the deal people, either the company uses rancid hazelnuts to begin with or just rancid old hazelnuts that are roasted to get rid of rancidity taste, I think I rather try to vomit, so my body does not have to fight for many hours with digestion.....will never buy any nut milk in store EVER!
I’ve bought pretty much every type of nut milk out there. They all had added gums, emulsifiers and/or a list of other additives. I saw this brand originally at Sprouts and given the (very!) short ingredient list I was skeptical to say the least, but I tried it (so far I’ve tried the unsweetened hazelnut, walnut and cashew). They are ALL amazing. Do they mix perfectly with coffee? No, they are not dairy (which in my opinion is the only substance that mixes perfectly in hot beverages). They separate a bit when added to a hot beverage, but still taste good. The taste of all three is superior to any other nut milks I’ve tried and best of all, I feel good about drinking just nuts and water. No added junk! I’m extremely happy with these products.
You will look high and low for a milk substitute with no added gums, and you will always end up with Elmhurst. It is refreshing to see a company produce a product that people with SIBO and other digestive disorders can enjoy. The taste is quite good considering the minimal ingredients. I am on the SCD diet and this product is indispensable!
