It arrived fresh and well packaged with advice on storing. Smelled wonderful as I peeled it. Will definitely order again. 1lb made 1 wide mouth pint mason jar. My recipe is 1 cup peeled cubed horseradish, 2 tbspns sugar, 1/2 cup white vinegar, 1/4 tspn salt. This 1lb horseradish doubled the recipe. It's tasty, hot and will clean out your sinuses.
I needed horseradish of good quality and potency for fire cider. This product fulfilled the need extraordinarily well!
My horseradish arrived in as a large root 4 inches in diameter and 7-8” long, and a small piece about 2” long, in a plastic ziplock bag wrapped in a damp paper towel. They say to discard the paper, rinse off the root, and plant asap. The smell is amazing, and I’m looking forward to the growing part of this project to end up with fresh horseradish from my garden.
