Bought two hygrometers each in a different form factor. They are not even close with each other in terms of humidity. They are close in temp however.

I purchased the hygrometer and also purchased one Boveda 32% RH calibration. I waited 24 hours and it read 24% and then adjusted it to 30%.Why it only adjust by + or - 6% I don't know .I waited another 24 hours but apparently 30% is as accurate as it would go.This is ok as long as you remember the 2% low or if you believe the accuracy of the Boveda package. **Put a salt method calibrated analog hygrometer in with this one, BOTH read the same 30%,Maybe the Boveda 32% calibration unit is off.

Very accurate and responds quickly. Had to add 3 percent doing salt test but now it's right on.
Originally purchased to check the humidity in a guitar case... This little jewel has gone on to save my sinuses by proving just how painfully low humidity was in our home. The added benefit is it responds quickly... so moving it from room to room you can find out the humidity in the nursery and then check the basement! Well worth it to have on hand... to check how well the vaporizer is doing... to find out if the humidity is so low that your sinuses don't stand a chance... to find out if you need an exhaust fan in the bathroom ! Countless applications that don't even include cigars...
