I read the reviews on this one and thought i would try it. I had my engine redone and bought all new idlers and tensioners that were Delco professional series. They all worked fine except the idler. It only lasted about 800 miles over 6 months of driving. I started getting belt noise. After checking all them I felt bearing roughness in the delco brand. The Hayden bearing was tight and smooth. It installed easy and no more belt squeal. I had previously bout the Hayden for my escalade and have roughly 10,000 miles on it with no problems.
This doesn’t look like the factory pulley. However, it works exactly the same. Had a squeak under the hood and this inexpensive part eliminated the squeak. Hope to get half the wear out of this one as the factory part. Factory pulley lasted 364,300 miles. Impressed with both original and the new one.

I drove to Florida, up to New England, then back to California after installing this myself. Easy to install. But when I came back, I heard whining and moaning coming from my engine. I didn't suspect this part because it was practically new, with only 10,000 miles from the road trip. The craziest thing is it was this part that failed, the ball bearings inside of it, that is. Get a better quality part. This part is crap.
