Saw this because a friend had one and I loved it. Has worked great for the couple of months I had it.
I purchased this item on February 2019 and it's now September 2020. This little gadget was amazing for what I used it for. I would cook a single egg and then a little sausage patty with a little bread and cheese I had myself a breakfast sandwich. As long as you kept an eye on the egg it came out pretty good but you are not going to get a crisp fried egg like you would get off a stove and skillet. It was just great to have something that can be plugged in and ready to use in about a minute and a few minutes later you are done. The problem I had which eventually led to this gadgets demise was I would clean it up after every use but the darn thing just seemed to always been a little greasy. You can't really take it apart to clean either so you just have to do your best. Well the grease became an issue and I used a little lemon and water to clean it up and the coating bubbled up and started to peel off. Once the coating was messed up the unit could not longer be used for food. The heating element still worked fine but I had not need for a tiny hotplate so I threw it away. Even though I had to get rid of it I would still recommend buying one but just be more careful then I was on how you clean it.
It is too tiny and wouldn't feed a bird! I wouldn't even give it a one star. It was a joke.

I love this thing. At first it takes a little getting used to- portion control mainly. So far amazing pancakes and omelets, not so great hashbrowns. Really good for blueberry pancakes. Cleans easy if you keep it warm, spray some cooking spray then wipe with paper towels. Just be careful not to burn yourself.
