This was supposed to be a gasket of higher grade than the gaskets that can be purchased locally for less money. Reviews stated it was rubberized somewhat like the old gaskets we used to get. Ordering these for my Wife's iPad Pro 12.9 was a must. Not so much because of concerns dropping it, and damaging the camera lens. But really, the possibility of it getting scratched up. But this is easy to put on, and easy to clean when needed. Really good protection, they weren't exaggerating about it not being easy to scratch. Save yourself from having to get your iPad fixed or replaced if something happens, it's worth the $10 investment.
