I have been vegetarian for a while but I have always loved jerky so I thought I’d give this a try! Sadly it wasn’t the greatest experience. I liked the mushroom type better than the soy protein but that’s really about it.
I've had the Hickory Smoked a few times before and loved it but received the sampler as a birthday present. The Texas BBQ is great and the Hot & spicy/Sweet & savory is passable but outside of those three the rest are barely edible. The mesquite lime is like a sodium heavy lemon head with no other taste, the Tai peanut and Teriyaki I just could not get past the terrible texture and when I did it felt like it would present stomach problems later if I took another bite. I will definitely be reordering the Hickory Smoked and Texas BBQ in the future however.
