Not anywhere near marine grade based on years of personal experience with marine products. Why? After a few months grayish black discoloring (mold of some type) is occurring mixed throughout (inside and out) the entire strip of caulking. I have other white caulking 4 times as old that is still perfect. Worse perhaps is how difficult it is to work with. It is thick coming out of the tube and wants to level out on virtually any horizontal surface. Can't imagine what it may be like working it into a vertical surface??? And since it is solvent based, the mess is only cleaned with mineral spirits (buy lots of it though). I taped off both sides of the strip area I was about to caulk. The leveling tendency ran over the tape, so glad I taped it. Wrong! In allowing the caulk to settle, it began to congeal so that when pulling the tape off, the caulk was unevenly pulled out of the strip (which was impossible to avoid at this stage) making the strip look like it had been applied by a 3 year old. Smoothing it afterward was impossible, creating globs and chunks and valleys Have always been impressed with 3M products despite their expense until now. This caulk is junk and while it may last (I don't know cause I am tearing it out), who would want to look at two moldy caulk strips on a twin engine Grady White? Waste of time and money.

I used it to install a swim platform on my boat and it worked great. Never leaked a drop through the transom. Only complaint was the clean up, this stuff sticks to everything. Make sure and clean up any spills as soon as they happen.

This expanding foam is perfect for making back drops and paludariums. It is sticky so touching it will result a five finger mess, but it adheres great cuts easy. For anyone in the hobby for exotic species. This is a great buy. Ill update my photos after the weather breaks and I I can grab some more silicone/ substrate
Gotta use the whole can at once when you start or it gets jammed up with foam and becomes unusable.
