Based on the customer expectations mentioned, it seems that the customers in the Light Measurement category are looking for products that can deliver high PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density) levels of around 1800, an Android app fix, and an average circuit. To analyze these expectations, it's important to understand that PPFD is a crucial metric for indoor growers as it measures the amount of light that plants receive for photosynthesis. Therefore, customers in this category are likely looking for products that can provide optimal lighting conditions for their plants. Regarding the Android app fix, it's clear that customers are looking for products that are user-friendly and easy to operate. This suggests that sellers should prioritize developing products that are intuitive and easy to use, with a focus on improving the user experience. Finally, the mention of an average circuit suggests that customers are looking for products that are reliable and durable. This means that sellers should prioritize developing products that are built to last and can withstand frequent use. In terms of product development prioritization, sellers should focus on developing products that can deliver high PPFD levels, are user-friendly, and are built to last. Additionally, they should consider incorporating features that allow for easy monitoring and control of lighting conditions, such as remote control capabilities. In terms of marketing promotion factors, sellers should focus on highlighting the benefits of their products, such as increased plant growth and yield, as well as ease of use and durability. They should also consider offering promotions and discounts to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Finally, they should prioritize customer service and support to ensure that customers have a positive experience with their products.

I finally upgraded and got a couple apogee par meters and they're living up to the hype so far. I bought an mq-500 and mq-610 Epar cause I'm running spyder and iluminar "beyond-par" fixtures for my grow. First impressions are the sensors are built like a tank and I'm getting super tight readings to my spectroradiometer. My old par meter was way off. I knocked a star off just because the epar one picks up the far red in my Iluminar, while this one is only par. I might post again later but so far I'm happy with the investment.

I don't see how any of you got this to work. You're supposed to download and install the Tuya Smart app, right? Seems to be something that controls your home appliances. I found nothing that referred to a PAR meter. The app kept telling me the user name or password was wrong, and then it would tell me I was logged in without my having made a single change. I don't think my Bluetooth ever connected. I kept deleting the app and reinstalling it and each time it seemed to have a different setup with different questions. Is there a different app somewhere?

Making a PPFD Map Using the FH-100 PAR Meter for the Sunco 80 Watt Grow Light First a couple of definitions PPFD=Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density. It is measured in micromoles per square meter per second and is a measurement of light intensity over a defined area at a specific distance per second. DLI=Daily Light Integral. It is measured in moles per square meter per day and is a measurement of how much light has shown on a defined area at a specific distance per day. (PPFD * #seconds of light provided per day divided by 1,000,000). Customer Service at Sunco could not provide a PPFD Map or any PPFD values for any distance on this grow light. Clearly they did not understand, and could only tell me to put the plants 12"-37" below the light. So I bought a meter that reads PPFD (the FH-100) and produced my own map at appropriate heights for the tomato seedlings I will be growing. Turns out the recommended height is way off of where it needs to be. This grow light will be fine for my tomato seedlings (which optimally take a minimum of 300 PPFD for a 13.0-17.3 DLI), but this light cannot provide enough PPFD intensity for mature tomato plants (takes around 700 for optimal fruiting). Tomato seedlings can take up to 700 PPFD without damage. For those of you looking to grow pot, it likes even higher (>1000 PPFD) for good yields. Having sufficient PPFD for an appropriate DLI is important for plant growth. Hanging the light 6.6 inches directly above my 3 seed starting trays should get me in the sweet spot for all 45 cells, except for the outer four on each end. I intend to experiment with foil covered cardboard sides to reflect light back onto the outside 8 cells. My source of information is here: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4235429/ The 3 trays trays are centered directly underneath the light. PPFD measured by placing sensor directly on top of each cell in the trays. Measured width is 6" between centers of front and back cell. Measured length is 42" between centers of far left and far right cells. Some quick measurements (maps at 6.5" and 9.5" are in photos below): Center cell was 900 PPFD @ 1" below bulb Center cell was 705 PPFD @ 2.5" below bulb Center cell was 503 PPFD @ 4.5" below bulb Center cell was 380 PPFD @ 6.5" below bulb Center cell was 290 PPFD @ 9.5" below bulb Center cell was 212 PPFD @ 13" below bulb Sunlight in late afternoon on sunny Winter day in Indiana was 1400 PPFD. Seems reasonable to me - but accuracy is not verified against another meter. Readings in different cells at different light heights were quite repeatable. This meter seems a very good value. So much for 12"-37" distance for anything else than low-light plants like violets, for the Sunco 80W grow light. I need to place it at 6.5" to grow tomato seedlings.

I think my battery cover is defective. I'm spent at least an hour trying to get it back on but seems like it doesn't fit and I'm scared i'm going to break the device. I'll update the review if I can figure how to get the unit working. Kinda frustrated so far.

I recently purchased this solarmeter for my partner for Christmas and today she tried using it for the first time and it would turn on, some numbers would randomly show up the it would go down to 0.00 and when we pressed the button to read the actual uvb lights on the reptiles enclosures it wouldn't do anything. It stayed at 0.00. I tried asking for a replacement but then I accidentally cancelled it and now I don't have a way to ask for a replacement. Can I get some help?

No more guessing on uvb left in my bulb. The meter is so helpful and save me a lot of money not throwing away uvb bulb too soon. Good investment although it's pricey!
