Sales, a key metric of costs and profits for any business, is the most intuitive and accessible data. With established social media platforms and advertising channels providing detailed insight in regards to website traffic, understanding consumer sentiment--i.e., volume--is one of the more challenging areas to analyze. Volume refers how people express their opinions on our brand's products/services/marketing efforts via various touchpoints; these voices come together as an aggregate that can tell us what consumers need or expect from us – why consumers make purchases with us over others.

Based on the data provided, it seems that the average rating for maternity products on Amazon is 4.4, which indicates a relatively high level of customer satisfaction. With a total of 8324 reviews, it suggests that there is a significant number of customers who have purchased and reviewed these products. The high average rating suggests that customers are generally satisfied with the maternity products available on Amazon. This could be attributed to factors such as product quality, functionality, comfort, and overall value for money. The large number of reviews also indicates that there is a considerable demand for maternity products on the platform. Based on this information, my advice would be to continue focusing on maintaining the high level of customer satisfaction. This can be achieved by consistently offering high-quality products, ensuring accurate product descriptions, providing excellent customer service, and promptly addressing any customer concerns or issues. Additionally, it would be beneficial to encourage customers to leave reviews after their purchase, as this helps build trust and provides valuable feedback for potential buyers. Offering incentives or rewards for leaving reviews could be an effective strategy to increase the number of reviews and further enhance customer satisfaction. Overall, the data suggests that the maternity category on Amazon is performing well in terms of customer satisfaction. By continuing to prioritize customer needs and consistently delivering high-quality products, sellers can further capitalize on this positive trend.

Target your customers through customer profile

Voice of customer analysis and audience research are key elements when targeting customers through customer profile. By leveraging Amazon review analysis and other data sources, sellers can gain insights into their customers preferences and behaviors, which can be used to craft targeted solutions and develop a successful product profile. Additionally, this data can also be used to create more effective campaigns that attract the right customers and boost sales.

Additionally, marketing efforts could focus on the emotional aspect of pregnancy and motherhood, highlighting the importance of taking care of oneself during this time. Finally, offering gift sets or bundles could be a good way to appeal to customers who are looking to purchase the product as a gift for someone else.

Ship products your customers love through sentiment analysis

Through sentiment analysis, businesses can uncover consumer dissatisfaction with products, automatically decompose NR and PR, and present product quality issues, packaging suggestions, marketing loopholes, and inadequate service in a digitalized format. By finding problems in VOC and combining them with a set of quality problem solving processes (CTQs), businesses can form a closed loop from problem to action, thereby achieving continuous iteration and optimization of product quality. In addition, analyzing customer emotion data can help companies foresee emerging trends ahead of competitors and tailor their products to meet customers' needs.

This indicates that customers rely heavily on the information provided about the product to make their purchasing decisions. The product description is the top feature mentioned, accounting for 61.78% of customer mentions. There could be several reasons why the product description is the most influential factor for buyers in this category. Based on this information, optimizing the Amazon listing for maternity products should focus on enhancing the product description. Here are a few suggestions: 1. Provide detailed and accurate information: Ensure that the product description includes all relevant details about the product, such as size, materials used, features, and any specific benefits for expectant mothers. 2. Highlight unique selling points: Emphasize what sets the product apart from others in the market. For example, if the product offers exceptional comfort or innovative design, make sure to mention it prominently. 3. By focusing on these optimization strategies, sellers can effectively communicate the unique features and benefits of their maternity products, ultimately attracting more customers and increasing sales.

Amazon Reviews

I have sensitive skin and I was excited to see this was dermatologist tested and 97% allergen free and also all the good reviews. I applied to my abdomen hips and thighs per the instructions and broke out in terrible dermatitis sooooo itchy. Pictures are over 24 hours after applying. I went to return it but was told it is no refundable which is a shame. So if you have sensitive skin be weary and keep in mind you risk losing your money.

I got this product a day early and was packaged very well. I read other reviews who say they didn't think the correct product was in the bottle however I feel confident it is. It has the same smell as my cocoa butter in a jar and is thick just like the furmula says it should be. At least it better be the real thing like I'm sure it is and not something that can hurt my pregnancy! I used this with my first pregnancy and it worked. I loved it!

I am giving this product this review due to multiple reasons. To begin with I should have known a scam when the shipping is 3x the cost of the product. The lotion is in no way a cocoa butter lotion. Upon receiving these items. I ordered three. Both my girlfriend(who is pregnant) and I immediately noticed that it smelled like hospital lotion. There is no hint of cocoa in there what so ever. When using the ones we have purchased in store the entire bathroom smells of it. It is suppose to be identical. Also after comparing the two. The ones I ordered have an oily feeling/texture. I contacted the seller right away and their reply was to tell me that it was 100% the correct product and that they had bought a pallet to sell. Also that if I wished to return I would get only the purchase price of the product not including the shipping. As I stated before the shipping was probably 3x the cost of the product to begin with. I will be contacting Amazon to see if they can do something. Is it so hard for someone to not try to take advantage of people by using a quality site like Amazon?

Lotion is working good reducing stretch marks
Okay so I'm twenty years old and ever since I hit puberty I started getting stretch marks in all sorts of places. They always embarassed me and I struggled with them my whole teenage life. When I got older I had gained some weight and got more, but even after I lost the weight I still had stretch marks. This was the first lotion I tried and it really worked. I had put it on in the morning and at night for about a week and already started to see them fade. I don't know if the marks will ever be completely gone, but they have faded enough that I can finally wear a two piece bathing suit without feeling so ugly. I don't know how it works with pregnancy but my stretch marks went from a purple red to light pink in just one week! :)

This was horrible. First, overpriced. There's a blacked out pricetag that says 3.80. Secondly, I got a rash all over my breasts. I STILL have it after almost two weeks, and it started getting better a couple days ago, with oliveoil.
Horrible smellSept. 2007
I am newly pregnant and have been using this. My skin definitely feels different after using it, but I'm not far enough along to know if it's going to make any difference or not. What I do not like is the smell!! Pregnant women are already sensitive to smell and this smells like lotion and urine mixed. I would recommend Palmer's Tummy Butter - it has a much more pleasant smell - kind of like chocolate and lavendar mixed.
