If you need to get the good stuff to the people and those people don't number more than 40, then this is the mustard for you. Classic flavor and thicck enough for good spreadin'.
I'm 60 years old and my mom had this in our kitchen in the 1970's. In the 80's, maybe the early 90's, I was able to buy it at TJ Maxx but then not, so I didn't have it around for all of these years. Gosh, it tastes just like I remembered and was so pleased. It's my favorite mustard by far. I mostly use it for sandwiches, but I also like it for making German Rouladen. It just sits right on my counter so I think to use it often. Mustard does not need refrigeration. I'm just extremely careful not to contaminate it with my utensil. One thing...they have changed the red lid. It is VERY hard to get on and off, as it fits down into the jar quite far and has a big "hump" in it, to make it secure. If you have an old jar, you might want to save an old lid to use with the jar. I understand why they use the current one...it certainly means you will get an untampered product. However, it is virtually impossible for me to get it on and off SO, I took my kitchen shears to the bottom ridge of the plastic and cut a "v" in it. Now, there's some play in it and I can get it off and on with ease. (The first time I got the lid off some of the mustard went flying out...THAT's how much force I had to use to get the lid out of the jar.)

I use these for camping trips and they are very handy for that. Taste is the same as any other package form of yellow mustard. I could go for packets with more contents as I use a lot of mustard, but these are very convenient to pack and have for camping.
